Add to Calendar 04/02/2022 09:30 AM 04/02/2022 04:00 PM America/Chicago TAMU Physics & Engineering Festival The Festival will be an entertaining and educational event, both in-person and live-streamed. The Festival is free and will be jam-packed with raffles, explosions, flames, dozens of live physics demonstrations, and Q&A with scientists and speakers. The Festival livestream will kick off at 9:30 AM while in-person events begin at 11:00 AM. There will be two key speakers. Nancy Currie-Gregg (11:00 AM CT), NASA astronaut and professor of Engineering Practice, Texas A&M University. Alex Filippenko (3:00 PM CT), professor of astronomy at the University of California, Berkeley, and award-winning author. Also, don’t miss our Texas-sized grand finale, a five-barrel depth charge featuring 1,000 plastic balls. Festival Parking

On-Site Parking

For families and/or guests, there will be FREE parking in lots 50 & 51. DO NOT park at local restaurants or you may get towed. Only use on-campus TAMU lots or garages.

Buses Unloading & Parking

Bus drivers or school representatives must call and provide info to TAMU Transportation Services a week before the Festival. Please unload students along Ireland Street.
