Science in the Brewery

Science in the Brewery

Abstract

Join us for a fun-filled evening about the science of beer with UCSD professor Jérémie Palacci! Learn why Siamese cats have dark noses or you always spill your coffee when walking and what those things have to do with beer!

About Professor Jérémie Palacci

Jérémie Palacci is a professor of physics at the University of California San Diego. His research interest in soft matter (the physics of squishy things!) emerged during his childhood in France by observing cheese and mayonnaise flowing. It continued in NYC (NYU), thrusted by bagels and an appreciation for close-packing. Since 2015, it diverted to beer (and surf) in the 123 breweries of San Diego.
